In 1996, Larry Venturino, fresh out of high school, moved to Estero from Rhode Island with his family before going off to college. Since then, he has called Estero “Home.” Like, if he said, “Hi Home!” he’d be referring to Estero. Anyway, after years of performing in punk rock bands, Larry dove into the stand up comedy world and began performing in 2014. He has performed all over the country at some of the top comedy clubs and theaters. For the past 25 years, he has booked comedians and bands from around the world more recently through his Venturino Talent Agency. Taking yet another step in the comedy world, Venturino’s Comedy Club was born. Being the only comedy club in Estero, FL’s history, Larry hopes to bring the most hilarious comedians and variety acts to town. Located in the Embassy Suites by Hilton off Corkscrew Road, not only do visitors to the town have something to do right downstairs from their hotel room, but surrounding residents have a close, easy-to-get-to location to laugh and have a good time. Shows start at 7:30pm. Come early to eat and drink at the Eagle’s Nest Cafe in the lobby as doors for the comedy shows will open at 7:00pm. Buy tickets online or at the door (if there are any left).
