Jazz at the MACC: Who Will We Be? A Jazz Suite about the Soul
Paul Gavin will be fielding the largest group the Gulf Coast Jazz Collective has ever seen; Enjoy a night brought to life by the horns, piano, guitar, bass, drums, percussion, and a full string quartet in the beautiful Music and Arts Community Center!
The suite’s influences are a mix of funk, Brazilian jazz, New Orleans Jazz, and modern jazz. Each original piece explores traits we all aspire to like kindness, discipline, and bravery, resulting in a sonic journey of the human condition.
This is the biggest move the Gulf Coast Jazz Collective has made to date – a truly unique artistic expression, first being heard in SWFL at the MACC.
