Formally UFPC Religious Education program has a new name, SPIRIT CIRCLE.  With the new name comes a new pilot program combining religious education with spiritual development into a full experiential program.

INTENTION
The new design will be guided by the Seven Principles of Unitarian Universalism.  What is new?  We are incorporating spiritual virtues, such as Honesty, Courage, Compassion, Generosity, Kindness, Fairness, and Self-love.   

By providing opportunities to experience spiritual practices along with creativity, we become a very relevant community in how we educate children and youth while supporting families and adults future forward into the 21st century.

I understand that on occasion UFPC may take photos for archives or put on its website and/or for church-related publicity. 

Children in photos are never identified by name and always photographed with other children - if the photo is used on the website.

Behavior and Safety Expectations

Before and after RE class time, parents are responsible to supervise their children and youth.  We urge parents to be aware of where your children and youth are and with whom.

All children and youth are expected to behave with respect to each other, adults and their space.  Any child or youth who is being disruptive or threatening the safety of others or of them will be asked to stop the disruptive or unsafe behavior.  If the child or youth will not, then a parent will be called to remove the child or youth from the experience class and brought to other area until the parent amends the disruptive behavior.

All efforts will be made to address an unsafe behavior, determined by the Director's of Family Ministry.  In the Directors absence an RE Committee member will step in to assist following above protocol.
